Kelly Sandiford
I remember vividly that the Head of Art at my secondary school said I would either be an artist or politician. I was always a prolific painter in my teenage years and I hoped to go to art school. When I was 18, life (as it does sometimes) intervened and for the next 25 years took an entirely different trajectory to the one I envisaged. Sadly one that didn’t include the fine art world! However, as a qualified teacher I have had the privilege to teach the History of Art at secondary school, and painting and drawing at primary school. Having left teaching for a successful career in the corporate world, the time is now right to get my art career on track. I heard recently that many of us have second careers, there is a window of opportunity- an opening to allow me to follow my dreams.
I feel I have a lot of lost time to make up. I hope you enjoy my paintings and if you would like to own or exhibit any of my work, please contact me. I would be delighted to hear from you.
